Overview

Athletics is one of the most successful sports in the school with numerous medals won at Ulster and Irish Schools level. It is taught during curriculum classes and then after school practices start after February half term and run three times a week through to the end of summer term. We compete in various inter school fixtures in the lead up to the Co Down District Schools’ Track & Field Championships, Ulster Schools’ Championships and Irish Schools’ Championships.
