East Belfast Mission ‘Neighbours in Need’ Appeal 2023

Many thanks to the School’s Charity Committee which recently co-ordinated Grosvenor’s response to the East Belfast Mission’s annual ‘Neighbours in Need’ Appeal.

As part of the initiative, parents and pupils were encouraged to donate food items for this Christmas Hamper appeal, which helps support over one thousand local families during the Festive period. This year the need is greater than ever as many local families have been affected by the cost of living crisis.

Following an overwhelming response from the School community, the Charity Committee sorted through generous donations of cereal, selection boxes, tinned food and chocolate which were received from pupils. As a result of this generosity, they were able to fill a car with the donations which were greatly received by EBM in time for Christmas.

Many thanks to everyone who donated so selflessly to this year’s appeal.
