Girls’ Rugby – Ulster 7s Development Squad

Congratulations to Abigail Lennon and Mia Ferguson, each of whom were recently selected onto the Ulster Rugby 7s Under 18 Development Squad.

Abigail, Year 13, and Mia, Year 12, gained their places following a trial, held at Newforge earlier in the month. In all, over 400 girls attended a series of trials, held at various venues around the province, from which just 40 were selected for the final squad – highlighting the magnitude of the girls’ achievement.

Both Abigail and Mia are now due to attend a series of training sessions, held in Cookstown, between now and May. We wish them the best of luck with their involvement in these sessions.
