Congratulations to Grosvenor footballer Grace McKimm, Year Twelve, who has enjoyed a number of soccer-related successes of late; most notably as a key member of the prestigious Northern Ireland Elite Development Squad.

Grace’s involvement with the squad, which she has been a member of for the past three years, sees her train in Jordanstown an incredible four nights a week, which comes on top of her commitments as a member of Linfield Ladies F.C., for whom she has played for the past four years; training once a week and playing each Saturday.

In the past year defender Grace has captained Linfield to victory in the Under 15 South Belfast Youth League (SBYL) Cup final, as well as representing Northern Ireland Under 15s at the Foyle Cup in Londonderry. In addition, Grace was a member of the victorious N.I. team at the elite ‘Bob Dougherty Tournament’, held in Barcelona, while later this month she will be travelling to Scotland to take on the Scottish Under 16 XI.

Grace’s participation within the Northern Ireland squad has given her some fantastic opportunities and helped her to forge relationships with people with whom she will remain friends for life. Well done to Grace on her incredible recent achievements; we look forward to reading about many of her further attainments in the near future.
