Football – Den Bosch International Tournament

Congratulations to footballer Calum Anderson, Year 10, who captained Northern Ireland Under 14s to victory at the Den Bosch International Tournament, held in Holland last weekend.

Under his leadership, the team defeated Club Brugges in the final, who had knocked out Manchester United at the semi-final stage. Calum performed superbly throughout the tournament and was even voted Man of The Match, by Northern Ireland staff members, in the semi-final.

It has been six years since Northern Ireland won a youth tournament, so it speaks volumes that Calum was the person to lead the team to its first success in this period.

Well done to Calum on his impressive feat and we wish him continued success over the remainder of the season.
