Irish National Table Tennis Championships 2021

Congratulations to Grosvenor pupils Ben Watson, Lily Parke and Naomi Humes, each of whom secured success at the ‘Irish National Table Tennis Championships 2021’, held in Newtownabbey on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st November.

Ben, Year 12, performed superbly to secure the silver medal in the Cadet Boys’ category; a feat matched by Lily in the Under 13 Girls’ event, closely followed by Naomi, who finished third in the same age group.

In addition, Ben has been selected to represent Ulster in a friendly match against England on Thursday 25th November – we wish him the best of luck for this encounter.

Well done to Ben, Lily and Naomi on their superb achievements – we look forward to following their fortunes further over the remainder of the season .
