Marie Curie charitable donation

Congratulations to the members of Mr White’s A2 Sport Science class, who recently donated £371.65 to Marie Curie following a series of fundraising events held in the School.

The pupils, as part of the requirements of their A2 coursework unit, organised a beach volleyball competition, as well as a ‘Sponge the Teacher’ event, prior to Christmas, with a large number of junior school pupils participating in these fun activities.

The pupils themselves then selected ‘Marie Curie’ as their charity of choice, as they wished for a local charity to benefit from the proceeds of their work.

Well done to all involved on such a worthwhile endeavour.
