Squash - Junior Online Home Internationals

Congratulations to Grosvenor pupil Ben Watson, Year 11, who has been invited to participate in the inaugural ‘Squash Junior Online Home Internationals’, due to be held from 5th -7th March 2021.

The event will feature teams from Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales, with live ‘Zoom’ sessions focusing on squash-specific strength and conditioning exercises.

The majority of the week’s content will be delivered by Derek Ryan, former World Number 7, who is now a leading Physiotherapist as well as a Professional Strength and Conditioning Consultant to top PSA Players. It also follows a series of squash webinars featuring high performance presentations delivered by world-renowned coaches such as Haitham Effat, the former Egyptian National Team Coach.

A points based system will be in operation to determine the winning team throughout the week, with points being awarded for attending all four one hour sessions, as well as further on-the-spot, points opportunities.
