TCS Mini London Marathon

Congratulations to Sam Ferguson (Year 9) and Noah Harper (Year 10), each of whom were selected to represent Northern Ireland at the recent TCS Mini London Marathon.

The event, held on Saturday 22nd April, was a precursor to the London Marathon itself. Sam, who competed in the Minor Boys’ category, and Noah, who participated in the Junior Boys’ event, secured their selection following impressive performances at the recent Ulster Schools’ Cross Country Championships, where Sam placed 8th and Noah finished 3rd.

At the event itself, both boys performed commendably, against the strongest opposition from around the U.K, with Noah placing 40th and Sam, 86th. 

Well done to each of the boys on both their initial selection and impressive performances on the day – we now wish them the best of luck during the upcoming track and field season.
