‘In Conversation with Bragi Guðbrandsson'

Well done to Olivia Bryson, Year 13, who last week attended a prestigious event entitled ‘In Conversation with Bragi Guðbrandsson’, held at Queen’s University.

Mr Guðbrandsson, Vice Chair of the United Nations Committee Task Force on the Rights of the Child, hosted the meeting, which followed on from Olivia’s visit to the U.N. Headquarters in Geneva in February, where she and 14 other Northern Ireland delegates brought recommendations to the Committee.

The Concluding Observations from the Pre Session were release in September, with last week’s meeting proving a most worthwhile follow up.

Well done to Olivia for her valuable efforts in relation to this important cause.
