Ulster Schools’ Individual Table Tennis Championships ‘23

Congratulations to Grosvenor’s talented table tennis players who enjoyed great success at the Ulster Schools’ Individual Table Tennis Championships, held at Lisburn Racquets Club on Wednesday 29th March.

Having already achieved success at Ulster and Irish level in the team championships earlier in the season, Grosvenor’s elite performers again performed superbly to take home a glut of silverware.

Competing amongst a total of 261 players from 26 different schools on the day, stand out performances were delivered by Melissa Johnston, in the Under 16 Girls category, and Lily Parke, in the Under 14 Girls event, each of whom played impressively to secure silver medals.

Elsewhere Lily was supported well, in the Under 14 Girls competition, by Naomi Humes, who secured a bronze medal. On the Boys side, meanwhile, Euan Hanna was delighted to secure bronze in the Under 16 age group, while Ben Watson also attained a bronze medal in the Under 19 category.

Well done to Grosvenor’s star performers on such an impressive set of results - the culmination for another outstanding season for the School’s Table Tennis Club.
