Year 11 Workshops

Many thanks to Darren Nixon, from ‘eye4education’, as well as Shane Phillips, from ‘Inspire Education’, each of whom delivered highly worthwhile workshops to all pupils in Year 11 on Wednesday 18th January.

‘Labour Market Trends’, an interactive workshop delivered by ‘eye4education’, covered such topics as qualification demands by employers and anticipated N.I. inward investment. Pupils were introduced to proposed and targeted salaries and then, based on their career goal, worked with a personal budget planner to meet their needs.

‘On Your Marks’, a study skills programme delivered by ‘Inspire Education’, enabled pupils to acquire a deeper understanding of the memory system, prepare for exams and develop personalised time management techniques.

As always, both sessions met with positive feedback from all pupils in attendance - many thanks to Darren and Shane for delivering such valuable content to our students.
