GCSE examination results 2019

Grosvenor Grammar School students are celebrating the best year of GCSE results in the School’s proud history today, with the marvellous headline figure of 97.5% of pupils achieving 7 A* to C grades (including English and Mathematics).

A tremendous total of 35 students achieved 9 A*-A grades or better, with 19 of those achieving 10 A*-A grades or better.

Amongst the highest achievers are Aimee Brown (3A* and 8A grades), Amy Grant, Karina Piotrowska, Clara Kim and Emma Proctor (9A* and 1A grade) and Omnia Elshibly, James McAleese and Joseph McNaughten (8A* and 2 A grades).

Principal Dr Vasey was delighted for all concerned, saying:

“Following on from the excellent A Level results last week, we are once again celebrating tremendous success as a school community, this time amongst our GCSE students.  Our pupils and staff deserve enormous credit and are to be congratulated on another excellent set of results.  Thank you also to our parents who faithfully supported their children through such an important stage in their education.”
