Q.U.B. Year 8 Hockey Tournament

Congratulations to the School’s Year 8 girls’ hockey team which performed admirably at the Queen’s University Belfast Year 8 Hockey Tournament, held at Q.U.B. playing fields on Friday 13th December.

The girls won one match, drew two and lost one – to eventual finalists Strathearn.  Goal scorers on the days were Beth Walker, Nina Laing, Sophie Leckie and Emma Guthrie.

Well done to the entire squad for their commendable showing on the day, as well as their coach, Miss Knox, whose dedication and expertise has helped to get the best out of the players this season.
