Scripture Union Committee 2020/21

Congratulations to Year 14 pupils Esther Moffett and Jake Magill who were recently elected as joint-Presidents of Grosvenor’s Scripture Union Committee for the academic year 2020/21.

In most years selection onto the Scripture Union committee would take place in late June or early September, but given disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic over recent months, interviews this year took place just before half-term in October, with twelve additional pupils chosen to make up the 14 person-strong committee, alongside Esther and Jake.

Rather than meeting in its usual capacity, this year’s Scripture Union activities will take place virtually, with the committee having now set up a Google Classroom that will focus on this year’s theme of The Psalms. It is intended that it will feature a variety of speakers talking about their favourite Psalm, as well as ‘thought spots’, books reviews, quizzes, and various games.

Although things will run a little differently this year, all involved are still looking forward to another highly successful and rewarding year of worship between now and the end of June.
