Service of Remembrance

Grosvenor pupils Mia Bovill and Curtiss Bittles, both 8E, with their Form Tutor Miss Knox, following this year’s virtual Act of Remembrance.

On the morning of Tuesday 10th November Grosvenor’s pupil contingent took time out of their school day to pay their respects during the School’s virtual Act of Remembrance.

This year’s Service of Remembrance took the form of a virtual Year Assembly, delivered by Vice-Principal Mr Brunt along with Principal Dr Vasey, featuring customary components such as a recital of the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ by John McCrae, as well as The Last Post.

Wednesday 11th November will also see the school conduct a minute’s silence in honour of all those members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty since the end of the First World War.
